Shree Pashupatinath Nepali Canadian Culture Centre (PNCCC)

General background:

Pashupatinath is one of the eight main pilgrimages of Hindus. PNCCC aims to establish Pashupatinath temple in the Scarborough region of the GTA, in Ontario to create a mutual understanding, religious tolerance, friendship, and intimacy among all the mother tongued Nepalese people living in Canada.

The PNCCC was registered and established on January 26, 2004, as a non-profit organization under Ontario Corporations Act (R.S.O. 1990, CHAPTER C.38) and was regularly performing religious activities (worship), conducting regular religious hymn, and opening for pilgrimage regularly. However, the temple was inactive from 2010 to 2018. It was reorganized with a newly constituted Executive Committee and Board of Directors on September 24, 2019, and now aims to restore all activities which used to be performed since it was first established.
