Pashupatinath Scarborough Toronto

General background:

Pashupatinath Temple – located in Kathmandu, Nepal is one of the eight main pilgrimages of Hindus in the world. With that in mind, the Nepalese Community residing in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) plans to build a replica of the Pashupatinath Temple in Scarborough, Ontario. PNCCC is obliged to foster a mutual understanding, religious tolerance, friendship, and intimacy among all the Nepali-speaking people living in Canada.

PNCCC was registered and established on January 26, 2004, as a non-profit organization under Ontario Corporations Act (R.S.O. 1990, CHAPTER C.38) and has regularly performed religious activities (worshipping), conducted regular religious hymn, and opened for pilgrimage regularly. However, due to some unforeseen circumstances, the PNCCC was inactive from 2010 to 2018. However, It was officially reactivated on September 24, 2019, and now it aims to restore all its activities which used to be performed since it was first established. The re-establishment was initiated by the Hindu believers who are determined to establish a well-furnished temple.

The present elected committee from the first Annual General Meeting is committed to fulfilling its objectives and leading the PNCCC as per the Nepalese community will.
